The refreshed lineup now includes annual and monthly plans designed to make device coverage more accessible while adding theft and loss protection for up to two incidents each year under the AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plan. Along with this addition customers can still access all standard AppleCare+ benefits such as priority technical support unlimited accidental damage repairs genuine parts service and battery replacements.
A new iPhone continues to include a one year limited warranty and 90 days of complimentary support but the AppleCare+ subscription extends the protection to two years from the date of purchase. Accidental damage incidents require a service fee of Rs 2500 for screen or back glass repairs and Rs 8900 for other accidental damage. The updated plans now begin at Rs 799 per month offering a more budget friendly way to safeguard devices. Apple states that the expanded lineup aims to make comprehensive protection easier and more affordable for users in India.
Customers can buy AppleCare+ at the time of purchasing an iPhone or add it within 60 days through the Settings app on iPhone iPad or Mac. Subscription management and coverage details are also accessible directly within the app. The coverage offers significant practical benefits including liquid damage repair unlimited accidental damage service and free battery replacement when battery health dips below 80 percent. Repairs will continue to be completed using genuine Apple parts at Apple Stores and authorized service providers ensuring quality and reliability across all service interactions.
