One of the Middle East’s most prominent cultural events, Art Dubai, has officially revealed updated dates for its highly anticipated 2026 edition.
Originally planned for mid April, the event will now take place from May 14 to May 17 2026. Organisers confirmed that the exhibition will be hosted at Madinat Jumeirah, where it will return in a refreshed and more adaptable format.
In an official announcement, organisers explained that the decision was made after ongoing discussions with partners and stakeholders across the global art community. The goal is to maintain the importance of Art Dubai as a key platform supporting artists galleries and institutions while adapting to current circumstances.
The 2026 edition is expected to feature a more focused and flexible structure. Rather than a traditional large scale format, the event will bring together participants through curated exhibitions collaborative projects and engaging public programmes designed to enhance cultural exchange.
Previously, the exhibition was set to host over 100 contemporary and digital galleries representing more than 35 countries, with dozens of first time exhibitors. While the overall programme is expected to evolve following the schedule change, Art Dubai continues to position itself as a major hub for international art and creativity.
Meanwhile, World Art Dubai is still scheduled to go ahead as planned from April 23 to April 26 at Dubai World Trade Centre. This parallel event remains focused on accessible art, encouraging new collectors and supporting artistic appreciation across a wider audience.
With its updated schedule and refined approach, Art Dubai 2026 is set to continue its legacy as a key event in the global cultural calendar while offering a fresh experience for visitors and participants alike.
