Asus Unveils TUF Gaming A18 with Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU at CES 2025

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Asus introduced its latest TUF Gaming laptop lineup, featuring three refreshed models: the TUF Gaming A18, A16, and F16. The highlight of the new lineup is the TUF Gaming A18, which boasts an 18-inch screen and is equipped with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. All three laptops are powered by a range of AMD and Intel processors, offering up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage. Pricing details for these new models have yet to be announced.

The TUF Gaming A18, debuting as the first 18-inch model in the TUF series, features a 2.5K WQXGA display with a 240Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth and vibrant visual experience. The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and its peak brightness reaches 500 nits, offering exceptional clarity even in well-lit environments. Measuring 3.99 x 2.83 x 1.89cm and weighing 2.6kg, the laptop also has a single-zone RGB Mini LED chiclet keyboard.

Under the hood, the TUF Gaming A18 runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor, paired with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. For graphics, it features the powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. In terms of connectivity, the laptop includes USB Type-C, USB 4.0 with DisplayPort, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 LAN port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. For audio, the device includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and it also offers AI-driven noise cancellation, a 1080p IR camera, and Windows Hello support for secure logins.

As for the other two models, the TUF Gaming A16 and F16, they come with 16-inch WQXGA screens and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs, with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. They are powered by either AMD or Intel processors, with the A16 featuring the Ryzen 7 260 and the F16 coming with the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX chipset. Both models support fast refresh rates and robust cooling mechanisms thanks to second-generation Arc Flow fans.
