Ingredients (Serves 2, Medium Spicy)
- 1000 gms boneless chicken
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tsp degi mirchi (divided)
- 3 onions, sliced
- 1 green capsicum, chopped
- 4 green chilies
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp chicken masala
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
Method
- Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, salt, lemon juice, and 1 tsp degi mirchi. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Deep fry the marinated chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.
- In a pan, sauté onions until soft, then add green chilies, tomatoes, tomato ketchup, and green capsicum. Cook the mixture until the masala is well blended.
- Add the fried chicken into the cooked masala and simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan bread or rice.
