Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2 on Netflix: Release Window Cast Storyline and What to Expect

Date:

Netflix’s hit drama Beauty in Black is back with more twists, betrayals, and power struggles as Season 2 Part 2 prepares to arrive. The series has become a breakout success for the platform, blending family drama, romance, and fierce business rivalries.

The first half of Season 2 premiered on September 11, 2025, with eight gripping episodes that left fans craving more. Led by Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, the series has quickly earned a dedicated following. Season 1 ended with Horace (Ricco Ross) marrying Kimmie, naming her his heir, and revealing his declining health—sparking turmoil within the Bellarie empire.

Part 2 of Season 2 is expected to raise the stakes even higher. Tyler Perry, the show’s creator and director, teased fans by saying, “Expect the unexpected—the twists in the second season will keep you guessing until the very end.”

What’s Coming in Part 2

Kimmie now holds the COO position at Bellarie, but her fight is far from over. Horace’s children, ex-wife, and brother are determined to remove her, while Mallory (Crystle Stewart), the former head of Beauty in Black, is ready to wage her own battle. “Mallory doesn’t play nice for long,” Stewart shared in an interview. “Once she realizes Kimmie isn’t intimidated, things get explosive.”

Taylor Polidore Williams also highlighted Kimmie’s transformation. “Her confidence stems from Horace’s belief in her. Now viewers will finally watch her step fully into her power—and it’s so fun to play.” Fans can expect fiery rivalries, shocking betrayals, and a dramatic showdown between Kimmie and Mallory.

Release Window and Season 3 Hopes

Netflix has not revealed an exact release date for Season 2 Part 2. Based on the release schedule of Season 1, which split its episodes between October 2024 and March 2025, Part 2 of Season 2 could arrive in early 2026.

As for a possible Season 3, nothing has been confirmed yet. Williams admitted she is hopeful: “I don’t know, but I really hope we continue. It’s such an exciting story to tell.”

For now, fans can stream Season 1 and the first half of Season 2 on Netflix while waiting for the next installment.
