Celebrate New Year’s Eve on Dubai Waterways from Just Dhs150

Date:

Dubai residents and visitors can now enjoy a unique New Year’s Eve experience aboard Dubai’s water taxis, traditional abras, and the Dubai Ferry. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced special marine transport services for December 31, 2025, offering unbeatable views of iconic landmarks including Burj Khalifa, Atlantis, and JBR fireworks.

Ferry trips start from Dhs350 for Silver Class and Dhs525 for Gold Class, with children aged two to ten enjoying 50 percent off, and infants under two traveling for free. Water Taxi bookings are available from Marina Mall Marine Transport Station, accommodating up to 20 passengers per boat including wheelchair access, with full boat rates at Dhs3,750. Traditional abra rides, departing from Al Jaddaf, Al Fahidi, Al Ghubaiba, and Marina Mall stations, are available at Dhs150 per person, with children under two traveling free.

All marine transport trips operate from 10 pm to 10:30 pm on New Year’s Eve and conclude by 1:30 am. This offers an alternative to conventional rooftop parties or crowded Burj Khalifa viewing points, allowing attendees to enjoy a scenic and festive countdown from Dubai’s waterways. Interested visitors can book through marinebooking@rta.ae or call 800 9090 for reservations.
