Date:

Making bubble potato chips at home is easier than you think. These light and airy potato chips puff up beautifully when fried, giving you a crunchy and flavorful snack that is both fun to make and eat. With just a few ingredients like potatoes, egg white, and corn flour, you can prepare this crispy treat in under 30 minutes. Perfect for parties, tea-time, or movie nights, these bubble chips will definitely impress your family and friends.

How to Make Crispy Bubble Potato Chips

  1. Wash and peel three medium potatoes, then cut them into very thin round slices using a slicer or sharp knife.
  2. Spread the potato slices evenly on a flat surface, ensuring you have an even number of slices to make pairs later.
  3. Sprinkle salt lightly on each slice.
  4. On half of the slices, dust corn flour using a sieve. On the other half, brush a thin layer of egg white.
  5. Place the egg-white-coated slices over the corn-flour-dusted slices to form pairs.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the paired potato slices until they puff up and turn golden brown.
  7. Remove them onto tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
  8. Serve hot and crunchy bubble potato chips with ketchup, mayonnaise, or any dip of your choice.

These bubble potato chips are a simple yet unique variation of traditional chips. The crispy layers filled with air make them extra delicious and addictive. Once you try them, you’ll never look at regular potato chips the same way again.
