  • 150g kunafa shreds

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Prawns – Begin by deveining and washing the prawns thoroughly. Pat them dry and set them aside.
  2. Marination – In a bowl, mix lemon juice, mustard paste, chopped parsley, and peri-peri seasoning. Coat the prawns well in this mixture and let them marinate for a few minutes.
  3. Prepare the Coating Slurry – In another bowl, combine flour, egg, and water to make a smooth, lump-free batter.
  4. Coat with Kunafa – Dip each marinated prawn into the slurry, ensuring even coverage, and then roll it over kunafa shreds to fully coat it.
  5. Deep Fry to Perfection – Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the kunafa-coated prawns until they turn a crisp golden brown.
  6. Serve & Enjoy – Once fried, remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dip or sauce.
