Daryl Dixon Season 3 Set to Premiere This September With Intense New Journey in The Walking Dead Universe

Date:

The highly anticipated The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 is officially returning to screens on Sunday, September 7, airing at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. Fans of the post-apocalyptic drama can look forward to more heart-pounding action and emotional storytelling as the saga of Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier unfolds across the hauntingly beautiful but dangerous landscape of France.

Leading the new chapter are Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, reprising their iconic roles from the original Walking Dead series. In Season 3, the two survivors push through broken territories and personal struggles in their continued fight to survive and find a way back home. AMC released an all-new teaser trailer and exclusive first-look images, hinting at the darker and more complex direction of the upcoming episodes.

Season 2, titled The Book of Carol, set the tone for the duo’s expanding journey as they confronted their personal histories while being entangled in a growing civil conflict between Pouvoir and the Union of Hope. The latest season promises to raise the stakes further, with shifting alliances and emotional turmoil adding more depth to the story.

Joining the cast are Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, and Alexandra Masangkay as new series regulars. The show also features Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín, and Stephen Merchant in supporting roles, adding fresh perspectives and complexity to the post-apocalyptic world.

Executive producers Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, and Steve Squillante return to the creative helm. They’re joined by Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega of Ánima Stillking as new executive producers, ensuring a strong production backbone.

As Daryl and Carol’s journey unfolds through harrowing environments, the new season promises gut-wrenching drama, stunning visuals, and the kind of storytelling that has made The Walking Dead franchise a global phenomenon. Tune in this September to witness what could be the most emotionally resonant season yet.
