Aditya Dhar’s high-octane spy thriller Dhurandhar continues its historic run at the global box office, achieving yet another massive milestone on day 31. The Ranveer Singh-led film has officially crossed the ₹1200 crore mark worldwide, placing it among the elite group of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. With this achievement, Dhurandhar has surpassed the lifetime worldwide collection of Yash’s blockbuster KGF Chapter 2, further cementing its position as one of Indian cinema’s biggest successes.
After completing a full month in theatres, the film’s momentum shows no sign of slowing down. Domestically, Dhurandhar recorded a strong recovery during its fifth weekend, collecting over ₹33 crore net in three days. The total Indian net collection now stands at approximately ₹772.25 crore, translating to around ₹926.7 crore gross. Despite facing stiff competition from new releases including Avatar: Fire and Ash, Ikkis, and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, the film has retained its top position at the Indian box office.
On the international front, Dhurandhar has delivered an equally impressive performance. The film has already earned close to $31 million overseas, pushing its worldwide gross to about ₹1207 crore. This achievement is particularly remarkable considering the film did not release in the Middle East due to a ban, a factor that reportedly impacted overseas earnings by an estimated $10 million. Even with this limitation, the film is now on track to enter the list of the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films globally.
By crossing the ₹1200 crore benchmark, Dhurandhar has officially overtaken KGF Chapter 2, which concluded its global run in 2022 with a similar figure. The film is now closing in on SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which had amassed approximately ₹1230 crore worldwide. Trade analysts expect Dhurandhar to continue adding to its total in the coming days, even as weekday collections begin to stabilize.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, a covert Indian agent navigating dangerous terror and crime networks in Karachi. The film also features a powerful ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun. Riding on its phenomenal success, the makers have already confirmed that Dhurandhar Part 2 is scheduled for release in March 2026, raising anticipation among fans and industry watchers alike.
