Dubai Fountain Reopening 2025: Stunning Upgrade with Water Shows Lights and Music

Date:

The world-famous Dubai Fountain, located between the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, is making a grand comeback after months of closure. Known as the largest choreographed fountain in the world, the attraction has been closed since April 19, 2025, while undergoing a huge transformation.

What’s New at the Dubai Fountain?

Emaar, the property developer behind the project, drained more than 30 acres of water to install a brand-new concrete base designed to improve water insulation and support advanced technology. The upgraded fountain will feature enhanced sound systems, better lighting, and new choreography powered by robotic water and light controllers.

When Will Dubai Fountain Reopen?

The official reopening date is scheduled for Wednesday October 1, 2025, but signs suggest it could return earlier. On August 22, 2025, water was spotted refilling the iconic Burj Lake, a clear indication that the show is close to being ready.

Why Dubai Fountain Is a Must-See Attraction

Every performance at the Dubai Fountain combines music, lighting, and stunning water displays, shooting jets as high as 140 meters into the air. With 22,000 gallons of water moving in harmony, the new system promises an even more breathtaking experience. For tourists and residents alike, the Dubai Fountain remains one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a bucket list attraction.

Dubai Fountain Experience 2025

The upgrade means visitors can look forward to immersive evening shows like never before. Whether you’re enjoying the view from Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar, or the Burj Khalifa promenade, the upgraded technology will provide clearer sound, synchronized choreography, and dazzling visuals that set a new standard for entertainment in Dubai.
