Dubai Mall, the world’s busiest shopping destination, is expanding with a brand-new exhibition centre designed to host large-scale events, conferences, and exhibitions. Spanning 10,000 square metres, the centre will feature five exhibition halls, networking lounges, presentation stages, and event spaces capable of accommodating up to 6,000 visitors.
The new facility will offer direct access to Dubai Mall’s retail outlets, dining options, and hospitality services, making it an ideal location for both business and leisure events. The main hall alone will cover 4,000 square metres, with the remaining four halls totaling 6,000 square metres.
Although no official opening date has been confirmed, the mall’s website notes that event bookings will begin on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Details about whether this exhibition centre is part of the previously announced Dhs1.5 billion Dubai Mall expansion, which will bring 240 new luxury and retail options, have not yet been clarified.
Dubai Mall remains a top tourist destination, attracting over 111 million visitors in 2024, surpassing its previous record of 105 million. Located in the shadow of Burj Khalifa, the mall continues to combine world-class shopping, entertainment, and now, state-of-the-art event hosting capabilities.
