Dubai Welcomes Japanese Culinary Sensation Hikiniku To Come

Date:

Dubai is about to experience a new wave of Japanese cuisine with the arrival of Hikiniku To Come, a cult-favorite burger steak spot from Asia. Set to open in December 2025, the restaurant is brought to Dubai by the team behind Kokoro, Bake My Day, and Pinza.

Originally from Japan and perfected in Hong Kong, Hikiniku To Come has turned hamburger steak and rice into an art form. The name translates to “minced meat and rice,” highlighting the restaurant’s focus on beef patty served with rice. The concept is guided by a “three just” philosophy – just ground, just grilled, just cooked.

Diners will enjoy ground beef grilled over charcoal in front of them, paired with refillable bowls of rice cooked in traditional Hagama pots. The open counter wraps around a central grill, offering a theatrical and immersive dining experience where guests can watch their hamburger steak sizzle in real time.

The menu is minimalist yet precise, focusing on comfort food executed with meticulous attention to detail. With its cult reputation and stripped-back offerings, Hikiniku To Come promises a unique Japanese dining experience that’s completely new to Dubai’s culinary scene.

While the exact location is yet to be announced, the restaurant is expected to open its doors in December 2025, offering a must-visit destination for food lovers who appreciate authentic Japanese burger steak.
