- 5 ml oil
- 5 gm diced dry red chili
- 20 gm peeled and chopped garlic
- 10 gm unsalted butter
- 15 gm oyster sauce
- 5 gm chicken seasoning powder
- 10 ml Chinese cooking wine
- 10 ml water
- 20 gm sliced onions
- 5 gm chopped spring onions
- 10 gm shredded red capsicum
- 200 gm boneless chicken breast (sliced)
- ½ egg
- 40 gm corn flour
- 3 gm salt
- 5 ml light soy sauce
- 1 gm white pepper powder
How to Prepare Sliced Garlic Chicken
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Cut the boneless chicken breast into thin slices.
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken slices with half an egg, salt, water, and corn flour. Mix well and set aside.
Step 2: Fry the Chicken
- Heat 200 ml of oil in a pan for deep frying.
- Once hot, fry the marinated chicken slices on medium-high heat for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain excess oil.
Step 3: Prepare the Garlic Sauce
- In another pan, heat 5 ml oil on high flame.
- Add dry red chili and chopped garlic, frying for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add butter, oyster sauce, Chinese wine, light soy sauce, water, and chicken seasoning powder. Stir well to combine.
Step 4: Cook the Chicken with Vegetables
- Add the fried chicken to the pan.
- Toss in onion slices, spring onions, and shredded red capsicum.
- Stir-fry for 2 minutes, ensuring the chicken is well coated with the sauce.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
