Google has officially expanded its Pixel smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the all-new Google Pixel 10a. Positioned as a premium mid-range offering, the latest Pixel brings a mix of long-term software support, upgraded camera hardware and a larger battery, making it a strong option for Android users looking for a clean and secure experience.
The Google Pixel 10a will be available for pre-orders starting at 9pm IST through Flipkart and the Google India online store, while open sales in the country begin on March 6. The smartphone comes in four colour options including Berry Fog Lavender and Obsidian.
Priced at Rs 49,999 for the single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, the Pixel 10a is accompanied by several launch benefits. Buyers can avail an instant cashback of Rs 3,000 on select HDFC Bank cards, no-cost EMI options for up to 24 months and an exchange bonus worth Rs 3,000. The device is also eligible under the Google Pixel Upgrade Programme.
Running on Android 16 out of the box, the Pixel 10a promises long-term reliability with seven years of operating system upgrades and security updates. It features a 6.3-inch full-HD Plus Actua pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7i protection and peak brightness reaching up to 3,000 nits.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Google’s in-house Tensor G4 processor paired with the Titan M2 security coprocessor. It includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and a premium aluminium frame.
In the camera department, the Pixel 10a sports a dual rear setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor featuring optical image stabilisation and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 13-megapixel camera handles selfies and video calls.
Fueling the device is a 5,100mAh battery supporting 30W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G Wi-Fi 6e Bluetooth 6 NFC USB Type-C and multiple satellite navigation systems. The phone also packs a wide range of sensors along with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
