Ingredients
- 3/4 cup moong dal
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tbsp dahi (yogurt)
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste

- A handful of fresh coriander leaves
- Water as required

- Wash the moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for a few hours. Cook it in a pressure cooker with some water until soft, then mash it well.
- Dry roast the oats in a pan until golden brown, then grind into a coarse powder in a mixer. Keep a small portion aside for coating the tikkis.
