HMD Global has launched its latest feature phones, the HMD 101 and HMD 100, in India, expanding its S30+ powered handset lineup. The HMD 101 comes equipped with a 1,000mAh removable battery offering up to seven hours of talk time and supports 2.75W wired charging. Both models are powered by the Unisoc 6533G chipset and run the company’s proprietary S30+ operating system.
The HMD 101 features 4MB RAM and 4MB internal storage, with expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD card, while the HMD 100 comes with 8MB RAM and 4MB storage. Both phones sport 1.77-inch displays with 160×128 pixel resolution and a 4:5 aspect ratio. The devices also include dual LED flash units, 3.5mm headphone jacks, micro USB ports, built-in FM radio, and support for 23 Indian languages. The HMD 101 additionally offers a built-in MP3 player and Auto Call recording feature.
HMD 101 is available in Blue Grey and Teal colors, while the HMD 100 comes in Grey Teal and Red. Prices start at Rs. 949 for introductory offers, with the HMD India store listing HMD 101 at Rs. 1,049 (MRP Rs. 1,199) and HMD 100 at Rs. 1,099 for their respective RAM and storage configurations. Both phones are now available for purchase via HMD India online store, major e-commerce platforms, and leading offline retail stores across the country.
