- 100 gm makhana (fox nuts)
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cashew nuts
- ½ cup watermelon seeds
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup coconut slices (thin, lengthwise cut)
- 7–8 curry leaves
- 3 green chilies
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Rock salt to taste
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 3 tbsp desi ghee
Step-by-Step Method
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Roast the peanuts on low flame until crispy and transfer to a bowl.
- In the same pan, roast almonds, then cashews, and watermelon seeds one by one, removing each after they turn golden.
- Lightly roast raisins for a few seconds and remove.
- Roast the coconut slices until golden and set aside.
- Add more ghee if required. Fry green chilies and curry leaves for a few seconds, then add the makhana and roast until crisp.
- Mix in all the roasted dry fruits and coconut.
