Honor has officially unveiled its latest flagship foldable — the Honor Magic V5 — in China. This new book-style foldable phone arrives with a stunning 7.95-inch 2K resolution foldable OLED inner screen and a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED cover display, offering users an expansive yet pocket-friendly experience.
Powering the Magic V5 is Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, combined with up to 16GB of RAM and a maximum of 1TB onboard storage, promising high performance and plenty of space for demanding tasks. The phone also integrates Deepseek-powered AI features running on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.1 to boost productivity.
A standout feature is the triple rear camera system that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto shooter with OIS and up to 3x optical zoom. The Honor Magic V5 will be available in multiple stylish colour options such as Dawn Gold Silk Road Dunhuang Velvet Black and Warm White. Pricing starts at CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 1,07,500) for the base 12GB + 256GB model, going up to CNY 10,999 (around Rs. 1,31,400) for the premium 16GB + 1TB version. Pre-orders have already begun on Honor’s official China website, with open sales set for July 4.
