Honor Magic V6 Rumoured to Debut With Massive 7,200mAh Battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Power

Date:

Honor is reportedly gearing up to introduce its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V6, which could set a new benchmark in battery performance for foldable devices. Expected to succeed the Magic V5, the upcoming handset is tipped to combine cutting-edge hardware with a focus on endurance and flagship-level performance.

According to industry leaks, the Honor Magic V6 may be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, built on an advanced 3nm architecture for improved efficiency and speed. One of the biggest highlights is its battery, with reports suggesting a dual-cell setup that could reach up to 7,200mAh in a higher-end variant, making it the largest battery ever seen in a foldable smartphone. Another version is expected to feature around 6,900mAh capacity.

In terms of photography, the foldable is rumoured to sport a powerful 200-megapixel main rear camera, paired with a periscope telephoto lens offering up to 3x optical zoom. For security, Honor may opt for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Wireless charging support is also expected, further enhancing the premium appeal of the device.

While Honor has not officially confirmed the Magic V6 launch timeline, these leaks indicate that the company is aiming to push boundaries in the foldable smartphone segment, especially in battery technology and flagship performance.
