Honor is preparing to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphone the Honor Magic V6 and fresh teasers suggest the device could significantly reduce the visible crease that typically appears on foldable displays. The handset is set to debut on March 1 just ahead of Mobile World Congress 2026 where major global brands are expected to showcase their latest innovations.
Images shared by an Honor product executive on Weibo reveal the book style foldable opened flat with what appears to be a nearly invisible fold line across the centre. Unlike many foldables currently on the market the inner display looks smooth and uninterrupted offering a tablet-like viewing experience. The device also appears to feature slim bezels rounded corners a metallic frame and a USB Type C port positioned along the bottom edge.
According to company claims the improved display design has been achieved without increasing thickness or weight. Honor suggests that refinements in hinge engineering and upgraded panel technology have helped minimise the crease while maintaining durability performance and battery efficiency.
The Honor Magic V6 is expected to house a large 7000mAh battery paired with 120W fast charging support placing it among the most powerful foldables in its category. The device is also tipped to launch in a bold red colour option and may include a triple rear camera system with dual LED flash.
In the competitive foldable segment the Magic V6 is likely to challenge devices such as the Oppo Find N6 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 both of which are also pushing advancements in crease reduction technology. With its official unveiling scheduled at the AI Device Ecosystem Era event the Honor Magic V6 could emerge as one of the most talked about foldable smartphones of 2026.
