Honor previews Magic V6 foldable in striking Red Rabbit finish ahead of global launch

Date:

Honor has offered an early look at its upcoming book-style foldable smartphone the Honor Magic V6 revealing a bold new red colour option and highlighting improvements to the device’s hinge durability. The foldable is scheduled to make its global debut just ahead of MWC 2026 where it will be introduced alongside the company’s Robot Phone and its first humanoid robot as part of a broader AI focused showcase.

Official teasers shared by Honor display the Magic V6 in a vibrant red shade that will be marketed as the Red Rabbit edition. The handset features a premium design with a gold-toned metal frame and a slim hinge mechanism that the company claims is engineered for enhanced strength and long term reliability. Honor has emphasised the durability of the hinge suggesting structural refinements over its predecessor.

On the rear the Magic V6 sports a circular camera module that houses a triple camera setup along with dual LED flash units. The camera island is surrounded by what the company describes as an octagonal dome design adding a distinctive visual touch. The Honor logo sits neatly at the lower portion of the back panel.

From the front the foldable appears to feature a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera along with slim display bezels for a more immersive viewing experience. The power button and volume keys are positioned along the right edge of the frame maintaining a familiar layout.

While Honor has yet to confirm the complete specifications industry expectations suggest the Magic V6 could be powered by a Snapdragon chipset positioning it as a flagship foldable offering. Pricing details have not been disclosed at this stage.

The Honor Magic V6 is set to be unveiled globally during the company’s AI Device Ecosystem Era presentation on March 1 just before the start of MWC 2026. A China launch is also expected soon after the global reveal. With a refreshed design bold new colourway and a focus on hinge resilience the Magic V6 aims to strengthen Honor’s presence in the premium foldable smartphone segment.
