Acer has made a major splash at IFA 2025 by unveiling its latest gaming and performance lineup, headlined by the Predator Helios 18P AI (2025). The new device features an 18-inch mini-LED 4K display, delivering stunning visuals with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, 100 percent DCI-P3 color accuracy, and up to 1,000 nits brightness. Powered by Intel Core Ultra 9-285HX processors with Intel vPro and paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics, the laptop is designed to push the limits of AI-driven gaming and creative workloads.
The Helios 18P AI offers up to 192GB of ECC memory and as much as 6TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage, making it one of the most powerful gaming laptops on the market. Acer has equipped the device with sixth-generation AeroBlade fans, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes to handle heavy thermal loads. Other highlights include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, multiple USB ports, and an SD card reader. A six-speaker DTS X Ultra audio system adds immersive sound to the package.
Alongside the Helios 18P AI, Acer also announced updates to its Predator Orion 7000 (2025) and Predator Orion 5000 (2025) gaming desktops. The Orion 7000 offers up to an Intel Core Ultra 9-285K CPU, Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU, and up to 128GB DDR5 RAM, with support for massive SSD and HDD configurations. It comes with advanced cooling including 360mm liquid cooling and Predator CycloneX fans. The Orion 5000 features an Intel Core Ultra 7-265F processor, Nvidia RTX 5080 GPU, and up to 128GB DDR5 memory, with enhanced ARGB cooling systems.
The refreshed Acer Nitro series also made its debut, including the Nitro V 16 (2025), Nitro V 16S (2025), and Nitro 70 (2025). The Nitro V models come with Intel Core 9-270H processors, RTX 5070 GPUs, up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, and fast PCIe SSD storage. They sport 16-inch WQXGA displays with 180Hz refresh rates, along with DTS X Ultra audio and Wi-Fi 6. The Nitro 70 desktop, meanwhile, is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and RTX 5090 graphics, offering up to 128GB DDR5 RAM and advanced liquid cooling technology.
Pricing for the Predator Helios 18P AI starts at $3,999 (approx. ₹3,53,000) in North America and €4,999 (approx. ₹5,13,000) in Europe. The Orion 7000 begins at €3,999, while the Orion 5000 will cost €2,999 in EMEA. The Nitro V 16 and Nitro V 16S start at $999 and $1,099, respectively, while the Nitro 70 desktop will be priced from €1,999 in EMEA. Availability begins late 2025, with broader rollouts expected in 2026.
