Infinix GT 30 5G Plus Set to Debut in India With Enhanced Cyber Mecha 2.0 Design and Console-Style Shoulder Triggers

Date:

Infinix is gearing up to introduce its latest gaming smartphone, the Infinix GT 30 5G Plus, in India. The brand, under Transsion Holdings, has officially teased the device’s arrival through a press release and dedicated Flipkart listing. While the exact launch date has not been disclosed, teaser visuals offer a clear glimpse into the upcoming device’s aesthetics, showcasing a sleek green finish and a revamped Cyber Mecha Design 2.0.

Positioned as a gaming-centric phone, the Infinix GT 30 5G Plus will include GT Shoulder Triggers for console-like gaming control. The smartphone is also expected to bring 90fps gaming support for BGMI, certified by KRAFTON. A standout design feature includes customisable white LED lights integrated into the rear panel, enhancing the visual appeal for gamers.

This model is expected to be a budget-friendly variant of the previously launched Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G. While the GT 30 Pro came powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, the GT 30 5G Plus is tipped to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. The phone is likely to be available in an 8GB RAM variant with internal storage of up to 256GB and will support 45W wired fast charging.

The Infinix GT 30 5G Plus will retail via Flipkart, where a microsite is already live with the tagline “The Game Starts with You,” hinting at a heavy gaming focus. The predecessor, Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G, was launched at ₹24,999 and featured a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The Pro version also housed a 5,500mAh battery, a dual-camera system with a 108MP main sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.

The upcoming GT 30 5G Plus is anticipated to offer a similar gaming experience at a more accessible price point while still incorporating Infinix’s AI technologies and fast charging capabilities.
