Infinix is gearing up for the launch of its new Note 60 smartphone lineup in select global markets and the brand is making a notable change in its hardware strategy. For the first time Infinix has confirmed that selected models in the Note 60 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets instead of its usual MediaTek processors.
The company has officially revealed that the upcoming Infinix Note 60 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 5G processor. This announcement signals a significant transition for Infinix which has traditionally relied on MediaTek Dimensity chipsets across its Hot Note and GT smartphone ranges.
According to the brand Infinix has partnered with Qualcomm to deliver improved performance efficiency and deeper hardware software integration in the Note 60 lineup. This collaboration aims to enhance overall user experience while bringing more innovation to Infinix smartphones.
The Infinix Note 60 family is expected to consist of three models including the Note 60 Note 60 Pro and Note 60 Ultra. Reports suggest that the Ultra variant has been co designed with Italian design house Pininfarina giving it a premium aesthetic edge. All models in the series are also confirmed to support satellite communication which is a standout feature in this segment.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro is set to debut soon in markets such as Nigeria. It is expected to arrive in Silk Green Solar Orange and Torino Black colour options and feature a Rear Matrix Display design. Key specifications include a 1.5K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate a 50 megapixel rear camera a 3D IceCore VC cooling system and a large 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
With Snapdragon now entering the Note series Infinix appears to be positioning the Note 60 lineup as a more performance driven and premium offering for global consumers.
