Apple fans are already turning their attention to the next-generation iPhone 18 series following the recent launch of the iPhone 17 lineup. Early leaks suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could retain the design aesthetics of the iPhone 17 Pro models, including display sizes of 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the rear camera arrangement on the iPhone 18 Pro models is expected to remain similar to the iPhone 17 Pro, featuring the same triple-camera sensor setup. However, Apple may introduce subtle changes to the rear panel by using a slightly transparent design. This could potentially reveal internal elements such as the MagSafe charging coils while maintaining the overall premium glass finish.
Additional reports indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro series may include a stainless-steel vapor chamber cooling system to enhance thermal management. There are also hints of a narrower Dynamic Island design and hardware refinements, although the models are still in the early development phase, so final specifications may change before the official launch.
The iPhone 17 series, currently available in India, includes the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. These models feature ProMotion displays, 48-megapixel rear cameras, and 18-megapixel front cameras, powered by the A19 and A19 Pro chipsets, and ship with iOS 26. While the iPhone 17 series offers incremental upgrades, expectations for the iPhone 18 series remain high as Apple continues to innovate in design and performance.
