iQOO is preparing to launch its latest flagship in India on November 26, and one of the biggest highlights is its long-term software support. The upcoming iQOO 15 will reportedly provide users with five major Android OS upgrades along with seven years of security updates, making it one of the most future-ready smartphones in its segment. This move aligns with the company’s focus on improved user experience and extended device longevity.
The phone will debut in India running OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 straight out of the box. It will be available in Alpha black and Legend white finishes, offering a sleek and premium look. Performance will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the same flagship processor featured in the Chinese model launched earlier. The upcoming device will feature a high-end 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals for gaming and daily use.
Gaming enthusiasts will also benefit from a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, designed to boost performance and responsiveness during intensive gameplay. Additionally, the handset is confirmed to include an 8,000 sq mm vapour chamber to keep temperatures in check during long sessions of use. The iQOO 15 continues to expand the brand’s software commitment as seen previously with the iQOO 12 and iQOO 13, but with even longer support terms.
The combination of cutting-edge hardware, extended update policy and a smooth display experience positions the iQOO 15 as a strong competitor among flagship smartphones launching this year in India. More details including price and availability are expected soon during the official unveiling later this month.
