iQOO is gearing up to unveil the iQOO 15 Ultra in China on February 4 and the company has already shared key details about the smartphone’s camera and core features. New teasers confirm that the upcoming handset will focus heavily on photography performance and gaming capabilities making it one of the most advanced models in the brand’s lineup.
According to official previews the iQOO 15 Ultra will feature a powerful 50 megapixel Sony periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and an improved CIPA 4.5 stabilisation rating. The rear camera system will be enhanced by Vivo’s proprietary imaging technologies including the Nice 3.0 Optical Reconstruction Engine and Magic 2.0 Image Restoration Engine which are designed to deliver sharper images better low light performance and accurate colour reproduction.
The smartphone is also confirmed to sport an advanced 8T LTPO OLED display using M14 luminescent materials. The screen will offer a 2K resolution a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness levels reaching up to 8000 nits. Built with gamers in mind the device will include capacitive shoulder triggers a self developed Q3 e sports chip coaxial dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and a high precision dual axis vibration motor for immersive gameplay.
Connectivity and thermal management are also key highlights. The iQOO 15 Ultra will feature 29 adaptive antennas support for the N79 5G band and AI Esports Signal Engine 2.0 for stronger network stability. It will be available in 2077 Orange and 2049 Blue colour options and will include an Ice Dome Cooling System. While the company has not officially confirmed the processor recent benchmarks suggest the device will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM and Android 16.
