iQOO 15R Confirmed With Massive 7600mAh Battery and Ultra Slim Design Ahead of India Launch

iQOO has officially revealed key battery and design details of its upcoming smartphone the iQOO 15R ahead of its India launch scheduled for February 24. The new handset will feature a large 7600mAh battery while maintaining a slim profile of just 7.9mm making it one of the thinnest smartphones in its battery segment in the country. According to the brand the phone has been engineered to feel lightweight and comfortable despite housing a high-capacity battery.

The iQOO 15R will join the flagship-inspired iQOO 15 lineup and is positioned as a performance-focused mid-flagship device. Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm architecture. The processor is claimed to deliver significant gains in performance with noticeable improvements in CPU and NPU capabilities. The device has reportedly crossed 3.5 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark indicating top-tier performance in its price category.

iQOO has also hinted that the 15R will be the fastest smartphone in the under Rs 55000 segment placing it in direct competition with other premium performance phones in India. The handset is expected to be priced close to rivals like the OnePlus 15R which uses the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.

In terms of design the iQOO 15R has been teased in a Dark Knight colour option and is also expected to arrive in a blue variant though its official name has not yet been revealed. More specifications and features are likely to be announced in the days leading up to the official launch.
