iQOO has officially hinted at the arrival of its next smartphone, the iQOO 15R, in the Indian market. The upcoming device is expected to expand the iQOO 15 lineup and will be positioned below the flagship iQOO 15 that debuted in late 2025. Early teasers confirm key design elements, including a dual rear camera setup and a distinctive patterned back panel, while availability via Amazon India has also been confirmed.
The teaser was shared by iQOO India’s CEO, indicating that the smartphone is “coming soon,” though an exact launch date has not yet been announced. Design-wise, the iQOO 15R appears to feature a square-shaped camera module with softly rounded corners, closely resembling the premium styling of the iQOO 15. An LED flash sits outside the camera module, while the rear panel showcases a checkered, multi-tone finish in a grey colour option.
Additional design details include curved edges and antenna bands placed above and below the power and volume buttons on the right side of the frame. The smartphone is also confirmed to run OriginOS, the custom interface introduced with the iQOO 15, and it is expected to be based on Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
Industry reports suggest that the iQOO 15R could be a rebadged version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which recently launched in China. If true, the handset may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, placing it among the most powerful smartphones in its segment. The Chinese variant features a 6.59-inch display, a high-resolution primary rear camera, a metal frame with a glass back, and enhanced durability with IP68 and IP69 ratings. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is also expected for secure authentication.
With its premium design cues, powerful chipset expectations, and competitive positioning, the iQOO 15R is likely to appeal to users seeking flagship-level performance at a more accessible price point in India.
