Jennifer Lawrence Opens Up About Trusting Robert Pattinson During Die My Love Filming Without Intimacy Coordinator

Date:

Hollywood actor Jennifer Lawrence recently shared insights about shooting intimate scenes with co-star Robert Pattinson in their upcoming black comedy-drama Die My Love. During her conversation on the Las Culturistas podcast, Jennifer explained that the filming process was grounded in mutual trust and comfort, eliminating the need for an intimacy coordinator on set.

The Oscar winner mentioned that although she did not know Robert personally before the project, she quickly felt secure working alongside him. She described him as thoughtful, relaxed and respectful in every situation. Jennifer joked that some male actors may become uncomfortable or assume unwanted things during sensitive scenes, but she emphasized that Robert maintained complete professionalism and is deeply devoted to his partner Suki Waterhouse. Most of their conversations on set revolved around personal life and parenting, which helped build a genuine comfort level.

The film, directed by Lynne Ramsay and co-written by Ramsay, Enda Walsh and Alice Birch, is adapted from Ariana Harwicz’s 2012 novel Die My Love. The cast includes LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte and Sissy Spacek in key roles. The movie premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival as part of the main competition lineup, receiving strong reviews and a nomination for the prestigious Palme d’Or.

Die My Love centers on Grace, portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, a young mother coping with intense postpartum mental health struggles while her partner Jackson, played by Robert Pattinson, attempts to hold their life together. The couple’s emotional turmoil leads them down a dark and chaotic path. The film is set for a theatrical release in the United States on November 7.
