K-Pop Sensation NOMAD Declares Mango Lassi Their Favorite Summer Drink During Visit to Delhi’s Dilli Haat

Date:

In a heartwarming celebration of Indian flavors on National Mango Day 2025, the rising K-pop boy band NOMAD got a delicious introduction to Indian hospitality through none other than the iconic mango lassi at Dilli Haat INA, Delhi. The group, who debuted in India during the All India K-pop Contest 2025, couldn’t hide their enthusiasm for the refreshing beverage that stole the show during their trip.

While the energetic performances and cheering fans were unforgettable, it was the chilled mango lassi that left the biggest impression on the band. Speaking to HT City in an exclusive interaction, the members expressed how the traditional Indian yogurt-based drink turned into a surprising delight. “I thought it was just another smoothie,” said ONE. “But after the first sip, I was hooked. It’s fruity cold and incredibly refreshing.”

For DOY, NOMAD’s leader, mango lassi hit differently. Known for being cautious with sweets, he shared, “Normally I avoid sugary drinks, but mango lassi was heavy in a comforting way. It was just right for the Delhi heat.” The group members unanimously declared it their favorite Indian refreshment and dubbed it “NOMAD’s go-to summer drink.”

The band also ventured into tasting other street food classics including samosas chhole bhature gol gappe and gulab jamun. While Sangha found the tangy gol gappa water a bit odd Junho was mesmerized by Indian arts and crafts on display. RIVR chimed in saying that beyond food what touched their hearts was the kindness and hospitality of Indian people. “We truly felt the warmth and care that India is known for. Atithi Devo Bhava felt real here,” he added.

As their first Indian experience unfolds with music food and culture NOMAD’s journey is more than just a tour—it’s a cultural connection fueled by mango lassi and heartfelt memories.
