Fans of the John Wick franchise have a reason to celebrate as Keanu Reeves is set to return as the legendary assassin in John Wick 5. The exciting announcement was made by Lionsgate during CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas. In addition to Keanu Reeves reprising his role, director Chad Stahelski is also returning to helm the highly anticipated sequel.

Despite the dramatic ending of John Wick: Chapter 4, where the titular character seemingly met his demise, the upcoming installment is in development with Thunder Road producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, alongside Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves in a producer-star capacity.
