Quentin Tarantino’s bloody revenge saga is returning to cinemas in an extended form as the new trailer for Kill Bill The Whole Bloody Affair has officially been released. The double feature will unite Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 the way the director originally intended, offering fans a full theatrical run of The Bride’s violent path to justice.
This special version includes previously unseen sequences along with the stylized anime segment that expands the story further. With a total runtime of nearly four hours, audiences will be treated to a 15-minute intermission to break up the action while keeping the immersive grindhouse energy alive. The re-release will screen in premium formats including 35mm and 70mm film, giving viewers a chance to experience the movie as Tarantino first envisioned it.
Kill Bill was initially developed as one complete feature, but the extended length led to its division into two installments released in 2003 and 2004. Together, the films became a pop-culture staple and earned more than $330 million globally. The Whole Bloody Affair was shown only a handful of times before, including a premiere at Cannes and a screening at Tarantino’s New Beverly Cinema.
The cast lineup remains iconic, featuring Uma Thurman in the role of The Bride alongside Lucy Liu, Vivica A Fox, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, David Carradine and Sonny Chiba. Tarantino has stated that this unified cut is the ideal way to experience the saga’s blood-soaked narrative on the big screen.
Kill Bill The Whole Bloody Affair will land in US theaters on December 5, giving fans a rare opportunity to see the full revenge story in its uncut, unrated theatrical format.
