KLM Restarts Dubai Flights With Restricted Daytime Operations

Date:

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has confirmed that it has partially resumed services to Dubai following a series of cancellations earlier this year. The Amsterdam based carrier is now operating a limited schedule of daytime-only flights between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Dubai International Airport as it continues to assess regional conditions.

According to the latest airline update issued on Wednesday February 11 KLM will maintain daylight operations on the Dubai route until at least Sunday February 22. Night flights remain suspended as the airline adopts a cautious and flexible approach to scheduling.

The decision comes after KLM temporarily halted several routes across the Gulf region in late January citing security considerations. While flights to Riyadh and Dammam have already resumed the airline has confirmed that services to Tel Aviv will remain suspended until further notice.

KLM stated that it is closely monitoring developments and will adjust flight operations based on ongoing assessments. Passengers impacted by the disruption are being offered free rebooking options or full refunds. Travelers who faced additional costs such as accommodation meals or communication expenses may also apply for reimbursement.

The announcement follows similar precautionary measures taken by other European carriers. Transavia has cancelled Dubai flights until mid February while Air France briefly paused services before resuming. Emirates also adjusted its network recently due to severe weather affecting the United States.

Passengers flying between Dubai and Amsterdam are advised to check their flight status regularly as schedules may continue to evolve over the coming days.
