Indian smartphone maker Lava International has introduced its latest budget 5G smartphone Lava Bold 2 5G in the Indian market. The new device arrives as the successor to the earlier Lava Bold 5G and aims to offer modern features including a high refresh rate display powerful processor and long lasting battery at an affordable price point.
The smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting March 19 at 12 PM through Amazon. The handset comes in two colour options Feather White and Midnight Black and is offered in a single storage configuration.

The price of the Lava Bold 2 5G in India is set at Rs 13,999 for the variant that includes 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For a limited time customers can also use a special coupon worth Rs 1000 which reduces the effective price of the device. Lava has also announced that buyers will receive free doorstep service support.
Lava Bold 2 5G Display and Performance
The Lava Bold 2 5G features a 6.67 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz which provides smoother scrolling and gaming performance. The smartphone runs on Android 15 and the company claims that the interface is free from unnecessary apps and advertisements for a cleaner experience.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset which can reach clock speeds of up to 2.6GHz. According to the company the processor delivers strong performance with an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 500000.
The phone is equipped with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage which should provide faster data access and improved multitasking.
Lava Bold 2 5G Camera Features
For photography the device includes a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 50 megapixel sensor developed by Sony which is paired with an additional secondary lens. The smartphone also includes an 8 megapixel front camera placed inside a punch hole cutout for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Additional Features
The Lava Bold 2 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery which supports 33W wired fast charging allowing users to recharge the phone quickly. For security the device features an in display fingerprint sensor.
The handset also includes an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and measures only 7.55mm in thickness making it relatively slim compared to many devices in its segment.
