After a long, exhausting week, there’s nothing better than a lazy weekend filled with rest, relaxation, and a warm, home-cooked meal. While food delivery apps may seem tempting, this quick and fuss-free chicken curry is worth the small effort. The best part? You don’t need to hover over the stove for hours—just dump, cook, and serve!

Dump-Style Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Ghee or oil – 3 tbsp
  • Boneless chicken thighs (cut into small pieces) – 600g
  • Salt – 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes – 6 to 8 (chopped)
  • Garlic – 1 tbsp (minced)
  • Ginger – 1.5 tbsp (grated)
  • Fresh coriander – A large handful (chopped)
  • Green chillies – 2 to 6 (adjust to taste)
  • Black pepper – 1 tbsp (freshly cracked)
  • Double cream – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon – ½

Method:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee or oil in a pan over high heat.
  2. Add chicken, salt, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, coriander, and chillies. Stir well to combine.
  3. Cover the pan, lower the heat, and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid, stir, and add black pepper and the remaining ghee. Mix well.
  5. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  6. Squeeze in half a lemon, mix, and garnish with fresh coriander and black pepper.

Serve hot with steamed rice, naan, or roti for a comforting and effortless meal.
