Mastercard Introduces AI-Powered Agent Pay in UAE to Simplify Movie Ticket Booking

Date:

The UAE continues to lead in high-tech innovations, and now Mastercard is set to make everyday shopping even easier with its new Agent Pay system. The AI-powered service allows users to let intelligent agents handle purchases, from comparing options to selecting the best deals, without any manual effort.

Launching for the first time outside the US, Agent Pay debuts in the UAE through a pilot program with Majid Al Futtaim, a major operator in malls, retail, and leisure across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Once implemented, AI agents could automatically check movie schedules at VOX Cinemas, compare showtimes, and book tickets securely and efficiently on behalf of users.

Mastercard designed Agent Pay to prioritize security, transparency, and convenience, providing a seamless experience for cardholders. The platform promises to streamline daily transactions, making routine purchases the simplest they’ve ever been, and reflects the UAE’s growing adoption of smart technologies in retail and leisure.

Consumers and tech enthusiasts are encouraged to stay updated via Mastercard Arabia’s social channels for the latest rollout details and availability.
