Moto G100s Surfaces on Geekbench With Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and Android 16 Ahead of Expected Launch

Date:

Moto appears to be preparing another addition to its G-series lineup as a new device, believed to be the Moto G100s, has been spotted on Geekbench. Listed under the model number XT2537-4, the upcoming handset reveals several early details about its performance and hardware configuration.

According to the benchmark listing shared by a known tipster, the Moto G100s is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, featuring four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.80GHz. The device was also shown with 8GB of RAM and running on the latest Android 16, hinting at a modern software experience right out of the box.

The Geekbench scores reflect 1,018 points in single-core and 2,893 points in multi-core tests, placing the device in the mid-range performance segment. Graphics processing may be handled by the Adreno 710 GPU, though the brand has yet to confirm any official specifications.

This development comes shortly after the launch of the Moto G100 (2025) in China, which arrived with a 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, dual-camera system and Android 15-based Hello UI. With the new G100s appearing in early testing, Motorola is likely preparing another competitively priced mid-range phone to strengthen its 2025–2026 smartphone lineup.

While an official launch timeline is still unconfirmed, the benchmark appearance indicates that more details should emerge soon as the device moves closer to release.
