Nothing Ear 3 Debuts With Super Mic Clear Calls Up to 45dB ANC and 38 Hours Playback

Date:

The much-anticipated Nothing Ear 3 true wireless stereo earbuds have officially launched with a host of advanced features, blending futuristic design with powerful performance. Positioned as the successor to the popular Ear 2, the new model introduces cutting-edge upgrades such as the Super Mic system, improved audio drivers, and next-level adaptive noise cancellation.

One of the biggest highlights is the innovative Super Mic built into the charging case, which cancels noise up to 95dB for crystal-clear calls. With a dedicated Talk button, users can instantly activate the mic or even record voice notes directly from the case. These recordings sync to Essential Space with automatic transcription on devices running Nothing OS, giving users a productivity edge.

For audio quality, the Nothing Ear 3 delivers Real-Time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capable of blocking up to 45dB of sound, continuously adjusting every 600 milliseconds. It also tracks ear fit every 1,875 milliseconds to ensure optimum performance. Inside, 12mm dynamic drivers with a patterned diaphragm boost bass and treble response, producing a richer and more immersive soundstage across lows mids and highs.

Connectivity has also been upgraded with Bluetooth 5.4 support alongside LDAC for high-resolution audio. The earbuds promise ultra-low latency of under 120ms, making them suitable for gaming and video streaming. Pairing is seamless across Android with Fast Pair, Windows through Swift Pair, and iOS devices. Custom controls and access to ChatGPT functions can be fine-tuned through the Nothing X app, making them one of the smartest TWS options available today.

Battery life is another strong point, with each earbud carrying a 55mAh unit that delivers up to 10 hours of continuous use. Combined with the charging case, users get a total playback time of up to 38 hours. A quick 10-minute USB Type-C charge adds up to 10 hours of listening, and wireless charging support adds convenience.

The transparent design continues to be Nothing’s signature, with the Ear 3 featuring metal accents and a 0.35mm MIM antenna for 15 percent more power and 20 percent better signal sensitivity. The charging case is built from 100 percent recycled aluminium using advanced nano injection moulding for a more compact unibody. Both the earbuds and the case come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pricing for the Nothing Ear 3 starts at GBP 179 in the UK approximately Rs 21,500 EUR 179 in Europe roughly Rs 18,700 and USD 179 in the US nearly Rs 15,800. Available in Black and White finishes, global pre-orders began on September 18 via the Nothing website and select retailers. Sales will open on September 25 in multiple regions, with an India launch expected soon.
