Novak Djokovic has secured his spot at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, joining Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner for the prestigious season-ending tournament. With this qualification, Djokovic has tied Roger Federer’s record of 18 ATP Finals appearances, underlining his enduring excellence in men’s tennis.
This year, Djokovic also celebrated his 100th tour-level title in Geneva, becoming only the third man in the Open Era to reach this milestone alongside Jimmy Connors (109) and Federer (103). His qualification marks his eighth consecutive appearance at the ATP Finals, having debuted in 2007 at age 20 and missing only the 2017 edition due to injury.
Speaking recently in Riyadh, Djokovic highlighted his focus on longevity in professional sports, citing icons like LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Tom Brady as inspirations. “I want to continue playing professionally and witness the future transformation of tennis,” he shared, expressing excitement about contributing to the evolution of the sport.
Earlier this year, Djokovic also finished fourth at the Six Kings Slam, retiring mid-match against Taylor Fritz due to physical issues after the first set. Despite challenges, the Serbian ace remains a dominant force, blending resilience, experience, and unmatched skill on the court. Fans worldwide will be watching eagerly as Djokovic aims to add more historic moments to his legendary career at the Turin Finals.
