ZTE’s Nubia brand has unveiled two new foldable smartphones in Japan, expanding its lineup with the book-style Nubia Fold and the clamshell-style Nubia Flip 3. The Nubia Fold features an 8-inch OLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6.5-inch cover display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 6,560mAh battery with 55W fast charging. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, 50-megapixel ultrawide, and a 5-megapixel macro lens, along with two 20-megapixel selfie cameras on the main and cover screens. The device measures 144×160×5.4mm open, 73×160×11.1mm closed, weighs 249g, and offers IP5X and IPX4 dust and water resistance.
The Nubia Flip 3, designed in a clamshell form, has a 6.9-inch flexible OLED inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4-inch cover AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 4,610mAh battery. Its rear cameras include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, with a 32-megapixel front camera. The Flip 3 measures 76×170×7.5mm open, 76×87×15.9mm closed, weighs 188g, and also carries IP5X and IPX4 ratings. Both phones support 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity and run Android 15 out of the box.
The Nubia Fold will be available in Japan from December 4, priced at JPY 178,560 (approximately Rs. 1,03,500), while the Nubia Flip 3 will launch in January 2026, with international availability expected throughout 2026.
