Haleem seeds are not only rich in iron but also contain vitamins A C and K making them a well-rounded addition to a balanced diet. Their nutritional density makes them especially useful for people experiencing low iron levels or symptoms such as tiredness and hair thinning. Despite their benefits many people overlook them in daily meals.

To get the most out of haleem seeds proper preparation is essential. Khushi advises soaking the seeds overnight which allows them to develop a gel-like texture that supports digestion and nutrient absorption. For better iron uptake she recommends combining them with healthy fats and vitamin C sources. A simple method includes mixing soaked seeds with a little ghee warm water and adding amla juice or fresh lemon.

Portion size also plays a key role. The recommended amount is one tablespoon of soaked seeds per serving. Eating them raw should be avoided as soaking helps improve digestibility and safety. They can be consumed in the morning or at any convenient time during the day.

Regular intake of haleem seeds may be particularly beneficial for menopausal women and men over 40 as they help maintain healthy iron levels support bone strength and improve energy.
