OnePlus Ace 6T Set to Launch This Month With Next-Gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chipset

Date:

OnePlus has confirmed that its upcoming Ace 6T smartphone will make its debut in China before the end of the month, and the device is already up for pre orders through the Oppo China online store. The global market including India is expected to receive the same device under the OnePlus 15R name, making it one of the most anticipated releases in the mid flagship segment.
Early leaks suggest that the Ace 6T may become the first smartphone to launch with Qualcomm’s yet to be announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The handset may also follow the design language of the recently introduced OnePlus 15 series, but is rumoured to feature a dual camera system similar to the Ace 6 which includes a 50 megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel ultrawide lens.

The upcoming model is also tipped to sport a high refresh rate display of up to 165Hz along with promises of powerful performance and strong battery endurance. Previous reports indicate storage options that may go as high as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. Colour options expected at launch include Electric Purple Flash Black and Shadow Green though official details are yet to be confirmed.
As OnePlus continues to prepare for a global rollout of the 15R following teasers showcased during the OnePlus 15 launch the Ace 6T is shaping up to be a notable release. All leaked details remain unofficial until confirmed by the company.
