OnePlus has officially revealed that its upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 15R, will launch in India on December 17 alongside the new OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet. Both devices will be available via Amazon and the OnePlus online store, arriving as the latest additions to the company’s growing 2025 lineup.
The OnePlus 15R is expected to be a performance-focused smartphone featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 series chipset, Android 16-based OxygenOS, and a redesigned dual-camera module. Early teasers show the phone in two colour options — Charcoal Black and Minty Green — paired with an IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K durability rating for enhanced dust and water resistance. The handset features right-side power and volume buttons, with an additional function button placed on the left.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will launch as the successor to the 2023 Pad Go. It will offer stylus support through the new OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, 5G connectivity, a single rear camera, and two colour variants — Shadow Black and Lavender Drift. The device aims to deliver a balanced productivity and entertainment experience for users looking for an affordable mid-range tablet.
Industry sources suggest that the OnePlus 15R could be the global version of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T from China. It is rumoured to include a 50-megapixel primary camera with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
More details on pricing and specifications are expected as the launch date approaches.
