The upcoming OnePlus Turbo 6 series is set to make a significant mark in the smartphone market with massive battery capacities and advanced features. The series includes the standard OnePlus Turbo 6 and the OnePlus Turbo 6V, both confirmed to pack powerful 9,000mAh batteries, the largest ever in a OnePlus smartphone lineup. According to the company, the Turbo 6 can deliver more than 10 hours of usage on a single charge, offering one to two days of moderate daily use. Battery tests shared by OnePlus reveal that the device lasts up to 10 hours and 37 minutes under standard usage, outperforming other tested models and leading the OnePlus endurance charts.
The Turbo 6 features a 1.5K resolution display with a high 165Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals for gaming and media consumption. Its design includes a durable plastic frame with IP68 IP69 IP69K dust and water resistance ratings. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while graphics performance is supported by an Adreno 825 GPU. The phone runs on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, promising an optimized user experience.
The Turbo 6V model will share many of the same features, with some variations. It is expected to sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Both models are teased to be available in multiple color options, offering a mix of performance, endurance, and aesthetic appeal for tech enthusiasts ahead of the China launch.
