The OnePlus Watch 3 is rumored to be introduced as the successor to the OnePlus Watch 2. Although the company has not yet confirmed the existence or release of this new smartwatch, speculation is growing. According to a tip from Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) on X, the OnePlus Watch 3 is likely to be unveiled in global markets alongside the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones. These handsets, which launched in China in October, are expected to hit international markets soon.
The OnePlus Watch 3 is projected to launch globally in February 2025, following the pattern set by the OnePlus Watch 2, which debuted at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. While details about the OnePlus Watch 3 remain scarce, it is anticipated to feature enhancements over its predecessor.
The OnePlus Watch 2 offers a 1.43-inch 60Hz round AMOLED display with a 2.5D sapphire crystal screen. It runs on a Snapdragon W5 SoC and BES2700 chipset, with the Snapdragon processor powering Wear OS and the BES2700 running RTOS. The smartwatch boasts a military-grade MIL-STD-810H build and 5ATM water resistance, along with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
According to OnePlus, the Watch 2 provides up to 100 hours of usage in Smart Mode and up to 12 days of battery life in Power Saver mode, thanks to its 500mAh battery and intelligent OS switching. It supports 7.5W VOOC fast charging, delivering up to 48 hours of battery life under heavy usage. Initially priced at Rs. 24,999 in India, the Watch 2 has been well-received for its robust features.
