Oppo has officially unveiled the Oppo A6 5G in China, featuring a massive 7000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It also comes with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for enhanced graphics performance and supports microSD expansion. The handset is available in three colour options: Blue Ocean Light, Velvet Gray, and Pink (Fenmengshenghua).
The Oppo A6 5G is a dual-SIM device running Android 15-based ColorOS 15. It sports a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2372×1080 pixels, adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The display provides 1400 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 and sRGB coverage, and a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The smartphone’s dual rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/1.8 aperture, 27mm focal length, and autofocus, paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 22mm focal length supporting up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture capable of 1080p video recording at 60fps.
The Oppo A6 5G comes with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, and multiple sensors including proximity, ambient light, electronic compass, and accelerometer. For connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The phone measures 158.2×75.02x8mm and weighs approximately 185g.
The base model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at around CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 20,000) in China, while higher-end variants with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage are available, though pricing has not yet been revealed.
