Oppo is gearing up to introduce its much-awaited F31 smartphone series in India, with the official launch set for September 15, 2025, at 12 PM IST. The lineup, promoted as the “Durable Champion,” will focus heavily on strength and reliability, offering advanced dust and water resistance along with powerful hardware.
The series is expected to include three models — Oppo F31 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G, and Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G. All three handsets will debut with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, ensuring maximum protection against dust and water damage. This makes the Oppo F31 lineup one of the most durable mid-range smartphones in its category.
In terms of pricing, the base Oppo F31 5G is expected to launch under ₹20,000, making it more affordable compared to its predecessor, the Oppo F29 5G, which started at ₹23,999. The Oppo F31 Pro 5G is rumored to be priced below ₹30,000, while the premium Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G may carry a price tag under ₹35,000.
On the specifications front, all three smartphones are tipped to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery, catering to heavy users and gamers. The camera setup is also a highlight, with a 50MP primary rear sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, users can expect a 32MP front-facing camera.
Design-wise, the Oppo F31 5G could feature a square camera module with rounded corners placed on the top-left of the rear panel and may be available in Blue, Green, and Red finishes. The Oppo F31 Pro 5G is rumored to feature a centered squircle-shaped camera module, coming in Gold and Grey shades. The high-end Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G is expected to sport a circular rear camera unit at the center, with color options including Blue, Pink, and White.
The Oppo F31 series is shaping up to be a strong competitor in the mid-range smartphone market. With its emphasis on durability, high-capacity battery, and sleek design choices, it has already gained attention ahead of the official unveiling. More details are expected as the launch date approaches.
