The next generation of Oppo’s foldable lineup may be inching closer to India, as fresh leaks suggest that the Oppo Find N6 has entered the testing phase within the country. Despite this development, industry insiders warn that the India launch is still not guaranteed, adding to the uncertainty surrounding Oppo’s upcoming foldable device.
According to a well-known tipster, the Find N6 is undergoing internal evaluation in India—normally a sign of an imminent market release. However, the source clarified that Oppo has not confirmed whether the handset will officially debut in India, nor whether it will be reintroduced under the OnePlus branding, a practice previously seen with certain foldable models.
Oppo’s earlier release, the Find N5, arrived in China as one of the thinnest foldables globally, and its successor is rumoured to push the boundaries even further. Early reports suggest that the Find N6 could feature a slimmer and lighter build than typical foldable phones, positioning it as one of the sleekest foldable options in the market.
Speculations point to the Find N6 being the first foldable smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with top variants potentially supporting satellite communication. The previous Find N5 used a reduced-core version of the Snapdragon Elite processor, though it remains unclear whether Oppo will equip the Find N6 with the full-power chipset this time.
Rumoured hardware highlights include an 8.1-inch internal display, a 6.6-inch cover display, wireless charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, customizable shortcut buttons, and a large 6,000mAh+ battery. Camera expectations include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 primary sensor, complemented by a 50-megapixel 3x thin periscope lens, along with multispectral imaging capabilities for enhanced colour reproduction.
While the global launch timeline remains under wraps, the Find N6 is anticipated to be positioned as a flagship-grade foldable once released. Until Oppo issues an official announcement, all details should be considered preliminary.
